Seasonal/Temporary Work 10/12/2026 - 10/15/2026 - up to 30 hours per week. Flexible dates and hours.

The primary responsibility of this temporary position will be preparing documents for electronic filing. The position will work under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director of Business Services.

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

This position provides temporary support to district operations by performing a variety of general labor and support tasks. Work assignments will vary based on departmental needs and may include both indoor and outdoor responsibilities to help support efficient operations of the Wickenburg Unified School District.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform a variety of general labor and support tasks as assigned
• Assist with handling, moving, and organizing materials, supplies, and equipment
• Support day-to-day operations and projects across assigned work areas
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
• Use basic tools and equipment as directed
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines
• Work independently or collaboratively to complete assigned tasks
• Adapt to changing assignments and priorities based on operational needs
• Perform work requiring physical effort, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive motion
• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds
• Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• Obtain and maintain and active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience or training in a related setting is preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Computer Skills – Demonstrated competency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing.

• Math Ability – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

• Reasoning Ability – Ability to interpret an assortment of instructions furnished in variable forms.  Ability to apply reason to research and solve moderately complex issues with little or no assistance.

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

 

 

• Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.  The employee occasionally will stand and walk.  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.  Employee will frequently interact with the public and other staff members.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
