POSITION SUMMARY: Serves as the administrative assistant to one or more Executive Directors, ensuring all related departments operate in an effective, efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports Executive Director(s) in daily department operations;
- Maintains correspondence and other data, as needed;
- Organizes purchases for departments and supports schools with special purchases;
- Monitors and prioritizes all requests for services;
- Assists with budgeting and accounts;
- Complies with all rules, regulations and policies of the Governing Board;
- Ability to successfully lift and maneuver 25lbs.;
- Maintains inventory of supplies;
- Maintains a positive working relationship with district staff, school staff, students, parents and community;
- Other duties as assigned.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include a combination of the following:
BUSINESS SERVICES
- Manages district fixed assets;
- Manages district surplus and auctions;
SUPPORT SERVICES
- Maintains accurate job records and keeps them up to date;
- Manages Facility Use requests;
- Assists in the assignment of requests for service;
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
- Organizes travel for groups and individuals;
- Assists with local and state assessment duties;
- Maintains inventory of supplies purchased with grant funds;
TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
- Maintains technology inventory;
- Compares information or data with other records for verification;
- Provides Tier I technical phone support;
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- Maintains valid Arizona Driver’s License;
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain a current Fingerprint Clearance Card.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Excellent public relations skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Computer skills, i.e. keyboarding, utilizing software programs;
- Good organizational skills;
- Bilingual preferred.
- Previous experience in an educational setting preferred.

- Computer Skills – Demonstrated competency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing.
- Communication Skills – Ability to read and interpret general documents such as employee handbooks and safety/training manuals. Ability to write general correspondence and speak effectively with others.
- Math Ability – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to interpret assortment of instructions furnished in variable forms. Ability to apply reason to research and solve moderately complex issues with little or no assistance.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee occasionally will stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Employee will frequently interact with the public and other staff members. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
